Depending on age, childbirth and gynecological interventions, some deformations such as relaxation and elasticity occur in the vagina. In order to prevent this, vaginoplasty surgery, which is called by different names such as vagina tightening and vagina correction, is applied. Vaginoplasty surgery can be performed under local and general anesthesia depending on demand and conditions. The anesthesia method to be applied may vary according to the region and the person. This operation can take between 1 and 2 hours. During the operation, the excess vaginal skin is removed and the underlying tissue is compressed. After the procedure is completed, the patient can be kept under observation for 1-2 hours considering the risk of bleeding. The sutures dissolve and disappear spontaneously in a certain time. People who have undergone vaginoplasty surgery do not leave any scars, and it is not even noticed that they have had surgery. Bleeding in the form of spotting can be seen for about 10 days after the surgery. After 10 days, there is no problem. Approximately 4-6 weeks after the operation, the patient can return to his sexual life. If the person becomes pregnant after the operation, it is generally not recommended to have a normal delivery; because normal delivery will disrupt the stenosis of the vagina and cause it to expand; however, the person can also give birth naturally at his own will.
