In porcelain tooth restorations, the strongest connection is on metal. However, the precision in classical metal casting techniques is lower than CAD/CAM technology. In order to eliminate this weakness, laser sintering (welding) of metal particles instead of metal casting provides more sensitive infrastructures.
In cases where the teeth are few, removable prostheses are applied by the patient.
